Assistant Professor of Functional Ceramics and Condensed Matter Physics

Biography:
My research translates advanced functional ceramics into prototype devices for energy and sustainability. I focus on dielectric energy storage, thermoelectric generators, solid oxide fuel cells, and piezoelectric transducers, while also investigating quantum magnets and superconductors. By combining Impedance Spectroscopy with Neutron Scattering, I decouple physical mechanisms to uncover structure-property relationships and engineer better performance by design.
