The White Rose PhD Careers and Networking Fair is a collaborative regional event connecting doctoral researchers and employers from across the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York.

Organised by the White Rose University Consortium, the fair creates a shared space for networking, career exploration and knowledge exchange, showcasing the breadth of opportunities open to PhD researchers both within and beyond academia.

The fair brings together PhD researchers, employers and university careers teams to explore career pathways, build professional networks and share insight across sectors.

Employers attend to raise their profile, discuss career routes for doctoral graduates, and connect with highly skilled researchers. PhD researchers attend to explore options, gain confidence in articulating their skills, and learn more about roles and sectors they may not have previously considered.

As a cross-institutional event, the fair highlights the collective strengths of the White Rose universities and supports regional collaboration across academia, industry, policy and the public and third sectors.
