Biography:
I studied the integration of adult-born neurons in the mouse hippocampus during my PhD at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). I completed my post-doctoral training at Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (USA), where I cultured and transplanted patient human pluripotent stem cell-derived neurons and glial cells into the brains of living mice to model Fragile X syndrome, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. I opened my own group at the University of Leeds in November 2023.
