Our activity is organised around three strategic priorities. These priorities offer opportunities to support our partners’ existing work and find meaningful ways to add value.

Our strategic priorities

Developing people

Strengthening the partnership

Delivering sector and regional impact

Developing people

  • Deliver high-quality, practical career development support that complements existing institutional provision and supports sustainable, healthy career pathways
  • Leverage the partnership’s collective scale to support targeted and underrepresented groups (e.g. global majority communities)
  • Create and sustain cross-institutional peer support networks that strengthen belonging, confidence and peer wellbeing
  • Showcase and promote career pathways for colleagues, partners and regional employers

Strengthening the partnership

  • Increase awareness, visibility and engagement with White Rose across the collaboration
  • Identify gaps to inform targeted, people-focused activity across the partners
  • Facilitate the systematic sharing of best practice and expertise to reduce duplication and maximise the development of collective resources

Delivering sector and regional impact

  • Demonstrate progress and benefits arising from collaborative activity
  • Ensure close alignment with REF SPRE priorities
