Samuel Webb

RNID & Vivensa Foundation Research Fellow
Biography:

I am an RNID and Vivensa Foundation Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield, where I study the earliest biological changes that precede hearing loss. My research explores how noise exposure leaves subtle changes in the inner ear, even when hearing tests still look normal. By understanding these early shifts, I aim to uncover why hearing in noisy places often declines first and why some people are more vulnerable to hearing loss as they age.
