Biography:
Laura Fearnley is a Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York. She is a philosopher working within an interdisciplinary team on the safety and ethics of AI systems. Her research interests include the ethics of risks, causation, and moral responsibility, especially as they arise in the context of emerging technologies.
