Biography:
Jess is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in virology and vaccine design. Currently she works on novel poliovirus virus-like particles (VLPs) and her research focuses on optimising the expression of these in yeast. Previously she has worked on understanding the entry pathways of norovirus and foot-and-mouth disease virus as well as other VLP systems.
