The White Rose University Consortium is delighted to offer Sponsorship training to all senior staff at the universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York. This training is a crucial component of our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in leadership. It aims to equip senior leaders with the necessary tools to support emerging talent from underrepresented groups and effectively manage race inclusion within their teams.

As part of the White Rose Equity in Leadership Programme (LINK), this session will empower senior leaders to unlock the power of sponsorship and become champions for high-potential talent. Our 2-hour sponsorship training will provide you with the strategies and tools needed to advocate for emerging leaders and promote diversity in leadership roles.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understand the difference between sponsorship and mentorship and why sponsorship is critical for career advancement.
  • Learn how to advocate and influence decision-makers on behalf of your protégé.
  • Discover actionable strategies to create visibility and opportunities for high-potential individuals.
  • Explore real-life case studies and best practices that demonstrate successful sponsorship in action.
