The White Rose University Consortium is delighted to offer Race inclusion for managers training to all senior staff at the universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York. This training is a crucial component of our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in leadership. It aims to equip senior leaders with the necessary tools to support emerging talent from underrepresented groups and effectively manage race inclusion within their teams.

As part of the White Rose Equity in Leadership Programme, this session is specifically designed for line managers. It will help build the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to support and lead global majority staff within your teams. Participants will gain valuable insights and a practical toolkit on how to integrate race inclusion into everyday practices, thereby fostering a more inclusive and supportive team environment.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understanding race inclusion, psychological safety and its impact on the workplace.
  • Inclusive decision making and the power of unconscious bias.
  • Practical strategies for embedding race inclusion into your management practices, including having open and constructive conversations about race.

This is a valuable opportunity to enhance your leadership skills and contribute to our shared goal of creating a more equitable and inclusive workplace.
