A strategic Technical Manager with over 25 years of experience leading research and teaching support within the Biosciences and Chemistry sectors. Currently heading a team of 45 at the University of Sheffield, I oversee large-scale infrastructure, multi-disciplinary operations, and institutional budget planning. I am a dedicated advocate for the “Technician Commitment,” specializing in workforce development through the creation of accredited career pathways and institutional action plans. My expertise combines high-level operational management with a commitment to professional registration and sustainable laboratory practices.
