Lead Technician, School of Biology and Technician Lead for the Technician Commitment
Biography:
I have two roles at the University of Leeds, where I have worked for more than 30 years. As Lead Technician for the School of Biology I manage the technical team and the research spaces in the School.
In addition, I have a University-wide role as Technician Lead for the Technician Commitment overseeing the delivery of our Technician Commitment plan, and ensuring that the technician voice is represented at all levels within the University.
As a National Technician Development Centre Specialist Advisor I contribute to national projects, including the Education Technical Professional Pathway, and a Fair Attribution for Education.
