Almost every established researcher we spoke to described the same underlying experience: holding more than one role, expectation and identity at once. We call this The Juggler.
Beyond that shared experience, we identified four distinct ways researchers organise their leadership. Most researchers will recognise elements of more than one persona, but one may resonate more strongly with your current experience.
