The White Rose Prosper Cohort offers a comprehensive structure designed to support your career development. You will engage in three in-person workshops, each hosted at a different White Rose partner institution (Leeds, Sheffield and York), covering essential career development and individualised support from an experienced coach.

Day 1 – Reflect, will take place in Leeds and covers:

  • Taking stock: Assess and consider your career timeline.
  • What makes you tick?: Identify your core values and explore how they align with potential career paths.
  • Skills and strengths: Recognize your skills and strengths, and understand how they fit into the workplace.
  • Overcoming barriers: Identify what might be holding you back.
  • Role models and mentors: Learn how to identify and connect with role models and mentors.

To be eligible for this programme, you must attend all three days in person in full. For more information, please visit the White Rose Prosper Cohort page or click on the events to learn more about day 2 and 3.

The programme aims to cultivate a diverse cohort of researchers from Leeds, Sheffield, and York, spanning various disciplines, who are prepared to take the next step in their careers, regardless of the direction they choose. Participants will have opportunities to share their experiences and learn from the journeys of others.
