Biography:

Dr. Ashfaque Talpur is a Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield, specialising in the intersection of ageing, ethnicity, and health inequalities.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Talpur holds an honorary position at DBTH NHS Foundation Trust. In this capacity, he leads initiatives to build research capacity and capabilities among nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals, aligning with the Trust’s commitment to integrating research and innovation into clinical practice.
