Biography:
Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to the University of Leeds to pursue a PhD in Structural and Molecular Virology. After completing my PhD, I took up a Postdoctoral position at the University of York to continue working on virus-host interactions. Whilst the focus of my work has always been lab-based, I’ve also been involved in undergraduate teaching and supervision, postgraduate/postdoctoral representation, and event organisation.
