Helen is a Wellcome Early Career Fellow, developing the Lung Chemistry Model in Python (LungCHEM-Py), which is designed to predict the likelihood of asthma exacerbation from exposure to air pollutants present in indoor environments. Her work involves a mixture of computational chemistry, alongside experimental atmospheric chemistry and in vitro cell toxicology to understand the fates and biological effects of inhaled pollutants.
