At the White Rose University Consortium, we offer tailored activities that complement existing initiatives at your institutions, helping individuals from all backgrounds establish thriving careers.

Our programme of support is designed to empower our entire community, from postgraduate researchers to early career researchers, academics and professional services colleagues. Our activities include personalised career coaching, interactive workshops, and leadership development training, all aimed at equipping individuals with the skills and confidence needed to navigate their career journeys successfully.

By fostering community-building across our partner universities in Yorkshire, we ensure that our members have access to diverse opportunities and resources to advance their professional growth.

The activities we run are:

Equity in Leadership:
co-created with global majority staff from our institutions, this programme aims to foster diversity in higher education leadership by providing targeted leadership development training.
Crucible:
This programme brings together early career academics from diverse disciplines to foster interdisciplinary opportunities.
Prosper:
A development programme which will support postdoc to proactively manage their career development within a supportive community.
PhD Careers Fair:
Building on the success of previous events, Leeds Career Service is organising a PhD Careers Fair, open to all postgraduate researchers from our partner organisations.
