White Rose University Consortium works collaboratively to ensure individuals from all backgrounds can thrive at our institutions. GW4, a consortium based in the south-west of the UK, was approached in 2023 by PG students who shared the impact of the lack of childcare subsidies on their physical, mental and economic wellbeing, and sought support in raising the issue nationally. This led to the creation of GW4’s childcare campaign. However little data is available nationally to provide evidence for this campaign.

White Rose University Consortium have worked to help provide data (where possible) as well as contributing to this campaign by interviewing PG students for case studies.
