Are you managing research projects and looking to connect with others in similar roles? The White Rose University Consortium is launching a new Coffee & Chat scheme to support PRISMs* at Leeds, Sheffield, and York.
We know that some of the most valuable career advice and professional development comes from informal conversations with peers. Yet, opportunities to build these connections can be limited. This scheme is designed to change that.
How it works:
- Each month from October to January, you’ll be matched with a PRISM at a similar grade from one of the partner universities.
- You’ll arrange a short, informal video chat at a time that suits you both.
- Over the course of three months, you’ll connect with three different PRISMs, gaining insights into a variety of roles, disciplines, and institutions.
- These one-on-one conversations are a chance to share experiences, exchange ideas, and explore career development opportunities.
Complete the short registration form by Tue 30 September to take part in the October–January sessions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@whiterose.ac.uk
*PRISMs are Professional Research Investment & Strategy Managers. They predominantly work post-award to deliver large, complex research investments. Titles vary but include Project Manager, Network Manager, Project Co-ordinator, CDT Manager.
