The School of Computer Science, University of Leeds invites all staff to a free workshop to share findings from the CPHC (Council of Professors and Heads of Computing) project investigating gendered microaggressions in computing.
This half-day session will look at the nature of microaggressions and present findings on their nature and prevalence from a short project involving focus groups, questionnaires and interviews with current and former students.
We will also discuss possible actions, strategies for improving the experiences of those in gender minorities in computing, and look at future work.
