
Biography:
Rebecca is a medical researcher and has been working on Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) since her PhD at Oxford University where she published her work on the role of Polycystin2 in cilia signalling. After this, she joined the Baltimore PKD center (USA) where she published work on the role of mitochondria in Autosomal Recessive PKD before moving to Sheffield. She recently gained funding as a Kidney Research Intermediate Fellow and is pursuing a project to understand cellular signalling in ARPKD.
