Biography:

Dr Fanran Meng is a Lecturer in the School of Chemical, Materials, and Biological Engineering at the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on sustainable engineering solutions, integrating process simulation, material flow analysis, life cycle assessment, and techno-economic analysis to address challenges in resource efficiency and decarbonisation for sustainable material and energy systems. Ongoing projects focus on low carbon transport and chemical and plastics systems.
