Biography:
I am a Wellcome Early Career Award Fellow in the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science at the University of Leeds, and Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. As an interdisciplinary scholar, I draw from the history/philosophy of science and medicine, medical humanities, sociology, theology, childhood studies, and material culture. My current research explores the intellectual and cultural history of infancy and babyhood in a pre-Darwinian America and Britain.
