We have 3 main Doctoral Training Partnerships providing PhD training programmes;the White Rose Social Science DTP accredited by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)l; the White Rose DTP in Mechanistic Biology with investment from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC); and the White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities (WRoCAH) supported by a large award from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
Additionally we support our DTPs through a studentship network scheme. You can see the networks we have funded below:Contact us
Funded PhD Projects
The White Rose Studentship initiative was set up in 1997 to encourage collaboration between the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. Since 2005 the studentships have been awarded as networks to promote collaboration across the three institutions.
You can see more details about the Studentship Networks scheme here, or contact Dr Craig Walker who will be happy to help with any enquiries
