White Rose Energy Symposium

White Rose Energy Symposium now open for registration
Staff, taught post graduate students and post graduate researchers f can now register for the WhiteRose Energy Symposium on the 27th of October at the University of Sheffield
Academics, researchers, research-related staff and postgraduate students are all welcome, but places are limited.
This one day symposium will take place in Mappin Hall, at the University of Sheffield, and includes a great line-up of speakers to present and discuss UK energy in a post2050 scenario
The day will focus on the long-term outlook of the UK’s energy system after 2050 – Where will we get our energy from, how will we balance and manage demand, and what about policy to get us there? The format is presentations followed by audience Q & A to allow for discussion and debate.
Speakers include Jim Watson (UKERC), Jeff Hardy (OfGEM), Matthew Billson (University of Sheffield), Doug King (Doug King Consultancy), Philip Grünewald (University of Oxford), Colin MacBean (Scottish Government), Graham Cooley (ITM-Power), Jonathan Radcliffe (University of Birmingham) and Grant Wilson (University of Sheffield).
Registration and coffee from 09:15 to 09:40. Finish is 4pm
Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and registration is required as places are limited
