Three Universities Working in Partnership

The Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York, three of the UK’s leading research intensive universities, have opened a representative office in Brussels, the White Rose Brussels Office.

University of Leeds

The University of Leeds is a world top 100 university. It received its charter in 1904. Over 31,000 students study courses spanning Engineering and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences and the Humanities. The University was ranked in 10th place nationally for research power in 2014 REF. The university received €130M in grants in FP7 and a share of €745M worth of collaborative grants.

The University of Sheffield is a global community. One of the world's top 100 universities, it supports 26,000 students from 120 countries to learn alongside internationally leading academic staff. Our world-class facilities support 29 European Research Fellows and our strong partnerships underpin participation in 222 collaborative projects totalling €728M, with Sheffield ranking 18th in FP7.
